Raining on Sunday

Boy for a town that it doesn't rain in, it sure rains a lot. It rained all weekend again. I guess I cannot complain overall about the weather though.

First off, we went to McDuffy's today to watch USA take on Canada, and I am not a huge hockey fan, but I was pulling for the good ole USA. They sure made it a close game and I wish that they would have pulled it out so that I had a miracle on ice to talk about 30 years from now. Oh well, maybe in four years. And by the way, they have these lemon pepper wings which were quite delectable. I am actually glad that the Olympics are over because my shows will be back on now. This week we have a new Modern Family, and Office. In a few weeks FlashForward will be back too.

I couldn't help to check the other tvs during the hockey match and see that Purdue could not hold off Michigan State at home, which if they would have won they might have squeaked in a number one ranking, but thank goodness that they lost! We will probably see Syracuse move into the number one spot.

On to movies, do not rent Knowing with Nicholas Cage, it was terrible. It was interested for the first forty minutes or so, but it goes down hill quickly. On the other hand, I got to see Law Abiding Citizen this weekend and it was a very good movie.

Other than that not to eventful of a weekend, as I said it was kinda of crappy weather. Hopefully I will get to talk to some of you soon!

Hello All, I'm back already, and since I got absolutely zero response I figured I will try again. This time, I hope somebody says that they read it or something.

I was thinking about why I named my blog so cleverly. Probably because it fits my name perfectly, but more so because of my love for game shows. I used to come home from preschool and instead of watching cartoons like normal five year olds I would watch game shows. I have/more so used to have an obsession with game shows.

I got to thinking of my top game shows that I wanted to appear on as a kid, or as an adult, which I still want to get on a game show sometime. I came up with my top 5 game shows that I want(ed) to appear on. Which I think only one (according to my qualifications) I could even still make it on to. Lets go to some honorable mention games shows in no particular order. First off some Nickelodeon game shows such as Double Dare, Guts, Nick Arcade, and Wild and Crazy Kids. I think anyone my age would say that wanted to be on at least one of those shows. A couple of other shows, and I am sure that my brother can attain to these are Ready Set Cook and Hoosier Millionaire. Hoosier Millionaire is one show that I thought for sure I would make it on sometime, but I guess it is not on the air anymore, and I do not live in Indiana anymore either. Besides all of these, if you wanted to include reality game shows to the mix, I would want to be on the Amazing Race, or the Mole, which no longer exists.

5. Family Fued - absolutely love this game show, and I can even remember playing it sometimes down at IU on the old Nintendo system. If I had a choice I would want Richard Karn, or for those of you who are more of a follower of Home Improvement, Al Boreland.

4. Legends of the Hidden Temple - The hardest part would be choosing from all of the team names. I think I was always rooting for the Green Monkeys, or maybe it was the Silver Snakes.

3. The Price is Right (and only as Bob Barker as the host) - of course, if i still get the chance to get on this show I would of course take it, but I think that everyone stopped watching this show once Bob retired.

2. Press Your Luck - I actually kind it find of amusing that the technology was so great that a contestant figured out the pattern of the big board took home some serious cash and prizes. I guess that they made a documentary about the incident, and I would actually love to see it.

Okay, here it is! The number one game show that I wanted to appear on as a kid, and I think that you will all get quite the chuckle out of this.

1. Supermarket Sweep - Being on the big sweep is something I always wanted to do. I know that this sounds stupid, but I would love for this show to come back on the air so I could do the Big Sweep. Check out this link to see the big Sweep.

Well, that's how random I think I will continue to post on here until I have something interesting to say, haha. Goodnight folks, hope some of you come to visit.

Hello All! Quick update.

Hey guys, I just wanted to update everyone on life here in Arizona. As most of you know, I moved down here about a month and a half ago. The weather has been great, and the job is going good as well. This week is going to start of crappy with 60 and raining, but back to the mid 70s by mid week. I am still in the process of settling in, so still need to get some things, and one of my top priorities is getting a camera and taking pictures of the stadium and my place and what not. There are many things out here that I can't wait to explore, just need to save a little scratch so that I can do so.

I haven't decided what I am going to devote blogging about yet. I'm sure if you are reading this then you know that this blog will probably fit my personality in which will be totally random. I will probably talk about movies, tv shows, and the bachelor life. HAHA! I am currently catching up on TV shows that I have missed out on by not having Showtime, of course that means Weeds and Californication. I have also went back and watched all of the office seasons. Netflix has instant streaming which is incredible. Definitely check it out if you watch a lot of movies like I do.

So I have had Netlix for about a month, and I decided to go through my movies that I have rented this month. Some turned out great, and others were not so good. If you have any movie suggestions for me please let me know. This month I have watched Weeds Season 5, Californication Season 2, Gran Torino, District 9, Smoking Aces 2, Angels & Demons, and Surrogates to name a few.

Has anyone been watching Undercover Boss? I am really intrigued by this show. It is on Sunday nights on CBS (I am back to having the farmer 5 for TV, which is actually about 10 channels thanks to the digital converter box). Anyways, presidents and CEO's of companies go in and work as an hourly wage person in their companies without anyone knowing about it and see how their businesses are ran. It is pretty interesting so far, but we will see how it plays out. Anyways, it is getting late here and I am going to go for now, but I might start using this as a way to keep in touch with everyone. Thanks for reading!
